Blackie is a 4 year old retriever mix. She was abandoned by her original family and rescued by an older man who is now in a nursing home, so Blackie is looking for her forever home. She is a calm dog, weighs 44lbs, and gets along with all people. She does fine with cats as well. She enjoys sunbathing and human companionship. Blackie's adoption fee is $325.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
