Buddy

Buddy is a Lhasa Apso, about 5 years old, housetrained, up-to-date on shots, and neutered. He is looking for a new home because his owner's health deteriorated, and the family can't keep him. He recently had a dental and is on a Banfield pet care plan at Petsmart. He is easy to care for, doesn't mind taking baths, walks well on a leash, and minds well when you call him. He likes to talk to you with little grunts. He asks permission to get up on the sofa with you by standing and looking at you making little periodic grunting sounds. Very cute. He also likes to chase tennis balls and play with you. Buddy doesn't do well with small children; he is not aggressive with them, but he is not familiar with them and can be defensive if they try to pet him. Buddy needs a home where he will live inside and be kept on regular heartworm and flea preventative, as he is now. He barks a lot outside, especially if he is out at night. When you leave him alone, he likes to get in his bed inside his crate. He doesn't damage anything when alone, we just crate him because he seems to prefer it.
