Cali

Cali is a 5-year-old poodle mix who is sweet, mellow, non-shedding and potty trained! We’ve had her for a while as she was extremely shut down when we first met her and it took time to get her out of her shell. Recently, @cath.ma stepped up to foster her and Cali is doing so well living in a home. We’ve learned a lot about her personality in the time she has spent in foster. She is a Velcro dog who LOVES her cuddles. She is smart and communicative - quickly learning to request attention by giving you her paw and offering you her belly for pets. ? Her foster mom is working with her on leash skills and helping her learn that strangers aren’t so scary. We recently learned that she likes to play with toys - something she only started doing once she went into foster! She hasn’t had any potty accidents in her foster home and knows that she needs to go outside to do her business. She is crate trained, but if given the option she will choose to snuggle in bed with you every night.
