Capitan has come to the shelter due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances. He was adopted from Safe Animal Shelter as a puppy in December of 2019. He lived a beautiful life with his parents, a husband and wife. He was spoiled rotten, provided with love, attention, affection, and the comfort of living in a home. Capitan was the captain of the ship. He received regular showers, and his mother would sing "You Are My Sunshine" to him. Capitan's father became ill and passed away. This left his mother no choice but to return to her home country of Puerto Rico. Capitan is very affectionate and playful, but is otherwise mild mannered. He does not enjoy other dogs or cats.
