Carmel is quite the social butterfly! LOVES to ride in the car and does well on family vacation trips. Good with children, will accept strangers, too. Walks on leash, but will chase a cat who will run - no harm done; just a good game of "chase". Sleeps in the bed. Dances and twrills like a ballerina when excited. If you are looking for a true canine companion - apply to adopt this little diva/princess!

Carmel is a gorgeous, spunky, chocolate colored chi girl. She is bouncy, happy, and freindly. Carmel barely weighs 5 lbs and we think she is about 2-3 yrs old. She gets along with other dogs very well and does a little jump and spin when she is excited. Working on housetraining. May not be a good match for a family with small children. If you are looking for a dog to add a lot of fun and energy to your heart and home - this is your girl!


WHAT MUST I DO TO ADOPT?

All adoptions begin with completing the online application found at: www.canineshelterrescue.org Vet, personal, and groomer (if applicable) references will be required and will be checked



WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?

Adoption fees differ from dog to dog and are non-negotiable. We accept CASH ONLY. Fees cover the vet care, quality food, and medications necessary to care for the dog while in our foster home. We are volunteers - no paid employees here! Fees and donations are the only means to support our continuing rescue efforts.

DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?

Yes, when it is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the adopter in addition to the adoption fee. PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT AIR FREIGHT PUPPIES YOUNGER THAN 6 MONTHS OR SMALLER THAN 8 LBS. YOU MUST PICK UP THESE PUPPIES.
