Hi everybody! My name is Carol and Im looking for my forever home. Im a beautiful golden girl who has the sweetest face, kindest eyes, and cutest little droopy ears youve ever seen! Im approaching middle age which makes me the perfect combo of laid-back calmness and playfulness. Im also an expert cuddler and smart as a whip, read more about me below! I love snuggling and cuddling and being around my peeps though I might be a little shy and fearful at first, I can make a wrinkly face, youll see. I warm up to new peeps quickly though. Because Im shy I sometimes get nervous around other doggos so Id eventually have to have a meet and greet with other pups in your house. (And psssssttt, I wouldnt mind being the only doggo in your house.) Im really not sure about those kitty-cats or other small creatures so its best if you dont have any of those. I should tell you though, that Im working with some really nice peeps to get over all my nervousness. I love to take long daily walks out in nature each, where theres so much to explore, twice a day as a matter of fact. Im good on leash though I need to take my time to smell the smells! And I also love looking out from car windows, music to my heart, but please tether me on my harness. It really helps my wellbeing to go walking somewhere a little special every day! I love healthy treats and even though Im on a grain-free diet (I get itchy with some foods), and Im a really good eater. Im wicked smart and know lots of human words. Im very clean and know not to go potty in the house and Im the perfect girl when you leave me alone for a bit. But I get a little sad if you leave me for too long. I love my big pile of squirrel plushies and like to play fetch with them in the house or outside. My perfect day is spent cuddling with my peeps, getting hugs, and treats, taking a couple naps, playing fetch, and getting in a long walk or two. Im looking for humans who will be around and patient with me being sometimes (not always by a far stretch!) shy and scared. Does that sound like you? Lets meet!
