Casper is no ghost, but he sure is friendly! This poor boy was surrendered to the shelter recently after his owner said he "couldn't care for Casper any longer." Casper is 5 years old and weighs about 30 lbs. His friends at the shelter report that he gets along fine with his cellmate, so he seems to be dog-friendly, too! Cat-testing can be done upon request.
Casper will be arriving sometime around April 24th, so please stop by an upcoming Meet & Greet to find out if Casper is the right pet for you!
PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events: You can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster.
(Note: Please e-mail us to request an adoption application.) To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our
website, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees.
