When I saw this magnificent dog in a kennel at a high kill shelter, I literally gasp! At 100+ lbs, this purebred dobe is so elegant and noble - seeing him in a shelter was like looking at a rare jewel in a trash pile! His soft eyes told me he was frightened and confused. When I took him out, he trembled and leaned onto me - all 100+ lbs! I could not leave him there!
Ceasar is registered, well-bred, and highly intelligent. He is good with all other dogs - small (yappy little chi's are just ignored), and large (standard poodles and GSD did not phase him). He does not even notice the cats here in my home either! Ceasar has a high companion drive - wants to be with you all the time. A little refresher in basic obedience will provide a boost of self confidence for a dog dealing with abandonment issues.
Must be INSIDE ONLY home with SECURE FENCE for outside exercise and potty. Ceasar appears to be fully housetrained.
