Cecil

Cecil is a senior sweetheart; if he were 10 years younger, there'd be a line waiting to adopt him. But he is an older dog and does require a little extra attention. He'd be perfect for someone who is home during the day and has the love and patience to give this guy a chance. He likes to be around you and appreciates as many cuddles as you can give but is also content just resting within eyeshot. While not fully potty trained, he did consistently use pee pads when confined to a space with hard floors, and I'm confident he could be trained to go only outdoors. He loves interacting with other dogs - is super friendly without a malicious bone in his body (or tooth in his mouth, for that matter). His favorite thing to do is roll around on his back when he finds a soft patch of grass; it's super cute. While he can be left alone and slept soundly through the night in a crate in another room, he would probably thrive with someone around more often than not - or at least a furry friend to keep him company. If you feel you might be able to provide the right home to an aging dog who deserves a chance to spend his final years in comfort, I urge you to consider him.
