Champagne will make a good dog for someone that has patience. She has spent a lot of her life caged up without a lot of direction or guidance. She will need somebody that can be firm with boundaries and consistent. Champagne has a little bit of separation anxiety so crate training will be necessary until she's comfortable. She will take some time to decompress, likely longer than the typical dog. We have known her to be fine with other dogs, but we are looking for her to be the only dog in home as she has shown signs of resource guarding. We do know that she is pretty good with cats. Champagne is eager to find her forever family as she loves to be with people.
