Chance is 8-9 years old. he came to us HW+ but he has completed Hearworm treatment and is now negative. Chance is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. His skin and coat were in really bad shape but are improving with good nutrition and loving foster care. He loves to just lounge around. He's good with the other dogs, cats and has been around children of all ages. He is very friendly with all people, especially little people. He just wants attention and follows me everywhere. He is also very quiet and calm. He is beginning to play!! Update 10/2007: He would probably do best in an adult home with older children-junior high. He has a small startle problem when he's really asleep. He is gentle and sweet to children, but if they trip on him or abruptly wake him he will growl and snap. Little kids don't always pay attention to where they are going. But Chance adores small kids too. Also, he does not take treats gently. He will take your finger with the treat if you're not careful. He's not being mean, just real happy to get a treat.
