My Story

Meet Charlie, an energetic and affectionate cattle dog mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love. Charlie thrives on adventure and enjoys nothing more than scavenger and treat hunts, making him the perfect companion for those who love engaging and interactive activities. This smart cookie knows a plethora of cues including sit, down, paw, heel, come, center, stay, wait, "night night" for crate time, place, turn around, right, and left, showcasing his impressive intelligence and eagerness to learn. Charlie's playful spirit shines when he catches treats mid-air and his loving nature is evident as he curls up in your lap or becomes the big spoon during cuddles, especially enjoying gentle massages on his forehead and around his ears. Charlie is seeking an active forever home where he can continue to explore, train, and thrive. His high energy levels mean he's not suited for a sedentary lifestyle; instead, he would flourish with owners who appreciate his lively personality and are willing to engage in regular physical and mental activities. Crate trained and well-behaved at the groomers, Charlie is a well-mannered boy ready to fit into a dynamic household. Although he's had some challenging experiences with other dogs and has a tendency to chase cats on walks, his previous owner describes him as friendly with every person he meets. He would do best in a home with older kids due to energy and not knowing his size. With the right family, Charlie's boundless energy and loving demeanor will make him an unforgettable companion and a loyal friend.
