Meet Charlie. He's a beauty & a real sweetheart. He was surrendered due to a job change and is now waiting for his forever home. He is NOT good with other dogs or cats. He rides well in the car, he's good with kids & is a seasoned running partner, hiker & camper & would do wonderfully in another active home. One of our volunteers took Charlie for a run and here's what he had to say: "We walked out to the park and then ran the perimeter twice. He's just about the best dog I've even run with on leash. He stayed right by my side the whole way and changed direction very well... all I had to do was point."
He's birdy but we're not sure if he's gun shy. Unfortunately, he has separation anxiety & will bark & get himself so upset that he will urinate also, so he needs a home with someone around most of the time.
