Charlie Brown

Meet Charlie Brown, one of 8 absolutely adorable 5 week old puppies. Charlie Brown and his gang we rescue from underneath a burned down house. Their story is short of a miracle as their mother a beautiful red merle, blue eye sweetheart had been picked up by the local animal control facility early that morning. We went for a visit to the shelter and noticed momma full of milk and short of any puppies. We search high and low around the area she had been picked up and returned empty handed. Finally we decided to take her with us...maybe she would show us where they were. We attached her to a long lead and believe it our not after a 15 minute journey from the spot she had been picked up we found her nest. Now our task of rescuing these pups, who had now been without their mother for over 5 hours in horrible heats, had just started. The puppies where underneath a collapsed house that had burned down several months ago. After 2 hours of trying to reach them one brave and determined rescuer 'slithered' under the house and one by one through a crack in the rumble hand out the pups. The puppies were only 2.5 weeks old and would have not been alive without the determination of their absolutely wonderful mother. Their mother is a great dog and if these pups are anything like her will make a family a wonderful companion. They are now searching for a home of there own. They have had there first vaccinations, been dewormed and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
