Hey folks, my name is Chase and I am a super cool laid-back boy. I am about two years old. I had a less than stellar life before coming into the rescue. I was chained to a tree and spent my days watching the world go by with very little interaction. I ended up at the county shelter and then fortunately GSRA found a spot for me. I am a handsome fellow! I have thick coat with a lot of red highlights. I am eager for attention and still learning how to process all the new things I am seeing and being exposed to. I am crate trained at housebroken. I do well with other dogs as long as they're not too overbearing or high energy or picking on me. I like medium energy dogs who just like a good game of tag , gently run around the yard, or just chill out and watch the squirrels. I've recently discovered tennis balls. I'll actually trot over and pick it up but then I drop it. Sometimes I will bat it with my paws. Foster Mom is hoping that I'll start putting the whole puzzle together soon. I am a very easy-going boy. I walk fairly well on a leash and take correction very easily. I can be a little mouthy when I'm wanting your attention and will loosely grab at your shorts or hands on occasion. I guess it's my way of trying to say "hey, I need something from you" and I don't know how else to express it. We are working on this. For now, no children under the age of 16. I ride very well in the car and do enjoy going for walks. I am very food motivated as well. Ideally, I would love a home with a fence yard and another chilled out dog about my size to play with and to help continue to show me the ropes. I am a diamond in the rough and looking for a new family to continue my journey with. I promise lots of love and kisses. I look forward to meeting you.
