Chester

This is Chester. He has been with his foster since he was about 4 months old, but is still looking for just the right family. They will be patient, with a quieter household, willing to give a nervous boy time to adjust to them and a new environment. He does love other dogs and would do well in a home with a confident 4-legged sibling to show him the ropes. Because of his nervousness, Nova will require a home with a fenced yard. Our adoption process is usually quick, but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
