Meet Chewy! This sweet boy was found as an emaciated stray in Philly and brought to the city shelter. He's definitely scared but doing his best to be brave and show his sweet personality!
During his behavior eval on Nov 28th, staff said:
Chewy was loose in the room and had an overall relaxed body. He would approach both handlers with soft eyes and low tail. He was a bit flinchy at sudden movements or over the head handling but never reactive or tense. He allowed all over handling and petting and would rest his head against us while petting him. he took treats gently as well and had good manners.
Chewy is now looking for someone to take him in and help him gain some weight and some trust! Could that be you? He's available for adoption and foster at ACCT Philly- you can meet him any day from 10am-6pm!
