Chief found his forever home in Hartland, right by me. It was love at first sight. I am not sure how the home visit even got done in the blizzard, but it did. Chief lives with Jill and Scott and their three kids. The kids were so excited. They watched out site for many weeks, just to find the perfect fluffy dog. Jill is home all day with Chief to keep him company. He also has a new name, Lightning. I hope that isn't a reflection of his personality, or maybe its his striking personality. Either way, it is a happy ending for Lightning.

Chief was at the shelter in Ga for three months. That is unheard of in these shelters. The person I spoke with said they could not let him be put down. He was too nice of a dog. Gets along with everybody & everything. He was a stray so we are unsure of what breed he might be, but we think he is a great fluffy breed. Chief is estimated to be about 30 pounds.
