Chop Chop is a special pup who joined us from the local city shelter. His larger size and boundless energy made finding him a home challenging, but we knew he would be a fantastic addition to our program. With his commanding presence, broad head, and a heart brimming with love, Chop Chop is looking for a dedicated handler who can manage his strength while providing a nurturing environment.
Sadly, Chop Chop was diagnosed with arthritis at a very young age, which affects his knees and causes him to struggle after too much exercise. He needs a lifetime of care, ideally from someone experienced with animals with special needs or someone willing to help manage his pain. Chop Chop requires supplements and laser treatments to help him live comfortably. He thrives on companionship and loves his walks and playing in the pool, though he will benefit more from short, frequent walks rather than long hikes.
While he has experience with children, we believe kids 12 and older would be the best fit. Chop Chop has done well with the dogs he has met at the shelter, but his energy and size should be considered. If you think you can provide the perfect home for Chop Chop, please reach out.
