Hello, I'm Claire! I arrived at Helping Paws with two of my friends, and I must admit, I'm the shiest of the bunch. When I first got here, I was so scared that the kind folks at the shelter had to carry me outside. My favorite hiding spot was in the bushes, away from humans. But things are getting better! I've started to gain a bit more confidence. There are still times when I need a little help going outside, and I might try to run to the trees, but I'm making progress. With a quiet home and a patient family, I know I will continue to grow and gain even more confidence. I'm a pretty girl who came in feeling completely shut down, but every day I trust a little bit more.
