Clovis’ sweet face looks so human-like…her eyes, that mouth, her expression…she’ll just melt your heart! This gentle 3-year old, 48-pound Pit Bull Terrier mix is brimming with love, affection, good manners…and so much more! Kind and friendly toward humans of all shapes and sizes, Clovis loves babies, little kids, old folks, and everyone in between. She is respectful around dogs larger than she is, but she can sometimes get a tad bossy around dogs her own size or smaller. She is neither a barker nor a resource guarder, and she responds to correction immediately. Clovis has mastered the commands sit, come, and touch…and is capable of so much more, given her love of treats! Clovis is fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks like a champ on a leash. She enjoys a long morning stroll, and then is content to snooze on the sofa for the rest of the day. She is extremely cuddly and mushy, and loves nothing more than to be pet, scratched, snuggled, and massaged. While home alone, Clovis can be trusted to just hang out and relax. She will patiently wait for your return and give you a warm welcome the moment you walk through the door. Everyone who meets Clovis falls in love with her…and so will you. This mellow angel would make a terrific companion for anyone with an appreciation for a personality-plus, pretty Pittiie!
