Meet Cocoa Pebbles!
Cocoa Pebbles is a stunning, petite chocolate pocket pittie with a heart as sweet as her name. This 36-lb gentle soul hails from a rural shelter and is now looking for her forever home filled with love and cuddles. She's a low-key companion who adores long cuddle sessions but is always up for leisurely walks or hikes if you're feeling outdoorsy. She is great with other dogs, cats, and children (she is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats), is gentle-natured and quiet, as she's not a big barker. She loves to be around people and thrives on companionship. She's also house trained, but would prefer a home with a doggy door!
Have you seen how cute Cocoa Pebbles is?! She is the definition of a Pocket Pit with her tiny stature and petite features. She only weighs 36 lbs fully grown! She also has the most gorgeous chocolate coat that inspired her name. She has an expressive face and eyes that constantly communicate her love for her human companions and she is amazing with other dogs and cats!
Cocoa Pebbles is seeking a loving home where she can continue to be the affectionate and well-behaved pup she is. Whether you're looking for a snuggle buddy, a walking companion, or a furry friend for your current pets, Cocoa Pebbles fits the bill perfectly. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Cocoa Pebbles, complete and Adoption Application today at rarerescue.org to arrange a meet-and-greet. This sweet girl can't wait to shower you with love and become an integral part of your family. Let's make Cocoa Pebbles' dreams of a forever home come true!

We understand that it is important to you to find the right fit for your family. We feel the same way! The DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM is important and REQUIRED for this reason.
All of our Adoptables are:
Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption
BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.
Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.
***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
