Someone with a out going dog already in the home.
Someone who understands shy and timid dogs and working slowly with them to gain there trust. Willing to work with a shy dog and understands you will need time and patients with him.
A family understanding he takes a while to come around to new people.
On going socialization and working with a trainer would be wonderful for him.

Onyx (Colonel) is a very nervous guy, who needs someone who will take the time to work with him and show him the loving he deserves. He is very Anxious & Scared, and will need extra care to help socialize him and help him to feel safe. He is very nervous with new people. We highly recommend a 2nd appointment to help him adjust.
