Colonel

Colonel is a male adult dog with a heartwarming, courageous, and friendly personality. He is a very affectionate dog who enjoys getting lots of pets. Colonel, along with two other dogs are what’s left of an original group of 8 reservation strays that have been seeking safety for awhile. The other 5 had been rescued but these ones hadn’t been as lucky till now. They have been spending their days being shot at and having super glue poured on them. This is crap you can’t even make up ?. One of the dogs been reported to often cry and wine in his sleep. On his transport today so was so happy to have a quiet space with a comfy blanket that he didn’t want to leave the transport kennel. Colonel a curious dog who is interested in exploring. He enjoys a good sniff and is always very attentive. He can be a bit timid around other dogs, so he would do best in a home where he can receive lots of love and attention. He would make a great companion for someone looking for a brave, affectionate, and curious dog. Colonel's ideal home would be with experienced dog owners, with no dogs or submissive or younger dogs, who can give him the time, attention, and love he needs and make him feel safe.
