Colt

Hi, my name is Colt and I’m an active, energetic 2 yr. old looking for my forever home. I’m currently staying on a farm in IA but am willing to travel for the right home.

I’m just 24” tall and a slim/trim 53 lbs and a gorgeous black & tan coat. My foster mom says I should probably go to farm because I really want to work and have chores to help with. I keep trying to go herd the horses but they won’t let me, I guess because horses don’t like to be herded.

I love to romp and play with other dogs but I can get a little snarky with intact males. It would probably be best if any other dogs were females (I do like the ladies) or other neutered males like me. I know my basic obedience commands, have good recall, am house trained, know the boundaries of the farm and stay there.

By the way, did I mention that I’m VERY loving and like lots of attention? I’m not always perfect, sometimes I still pull when I’m on the leash with a regular collar but I remember not to do that when I have my martingale on.
