My Story

Cookie is an energetic, playful boy who is ready to play or snuggle at a moment's notice. He is a wonderful balance of rambunctious and affectionate. While he may get over excited at times, he responds well to correction and guidance and is truly eager to please and be a part of a happy family. He is friendly and gets very excited to meet new people. His playstyle can be overwhelming to lower energy dogs. He has high energy and loves to chase balls and toys. He will thrive in an active household and will benefit from moderate to high levels of exercise. With proper guidance, Cookie will be a delightful addition to your family. APPROXIMATE WEIGHT: 22 lbs. ESTIMATED DOB: 8/29/2022 GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS: Selective GOOD WITH KIDS: NO GOOD WITH CATS: NO REQUIRES A FENCE: NO ACTIVITY LEVEL: high energy LIKES TO VOCALIZE: some SPECIAL NEEDS: NO BREED EXPERIENCE NEEDED: NO APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT FOR 1ST TIME DOG OWNER? NO FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained". The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us. Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training. We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility. Visit our adoption page for details about our process, and to fill out an adoption application. All animals come spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. If the animals age or health prevents any of these from being completed prior to adoption a voucher is issued for the services to be performed. If you have any questions about the animal, or our adoption process, please email [email protected]. The Little Guild is a 501c(3) federally recognized non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless pets.
