While he has a flair for vocal expression, particularly enjoying the art of baying, his unique communication style adds character! When Cordell first came to us, he was malnourished and emaciated. Because of his past, he can be protective of his food and prefers not to share. He'll need a home that understands his past and respects his boundaries. In order to ensure the best fit, Cordell Walker is looking for a home with kids aged 14 and older. Cordell has a history of living harmoniously with other dogs, as well as teenagers. He's also housebroken and crate trained! Despite his tough start, Cordell's spirit is unbreakable, and he's ready to bring his unique blend of joy and enthusiasm to a new family. Are you ready to give this resilient hound the loving forever home he deserves? ----- Adoption Fees & Benefits: Under 1 year: $200 1-4 years: $100 5-9 years: $55 10+ years: $35 Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine. A "meet and greet" with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. We encourage bringing your family and current pets, especially if traveling from afar. Adoption Hours: Open daily at 12 PM, except Wednesdays. No appointment needed!
