He was found abandoned around a lake near Stone Crest. When Crest came to us he was hungry, scared, unsure and covered in sores. He would flinch when you tried to pet him as if he was scared to be hit, he took up to women quicker than men. He’s been with us for almost a month now and boy has he done a complete 180! This boy is thriving despite living in a shelter he is so happy. His sores have all cleared up, he’s put on some good weight and man oh man has his personality truly came out. Crest is a sweet natured goofball, he is calm and collected when need be, can be handled with no problem but also has that wild child side where he wants to run, jump and play. Crest was already neutered when he came to the shelter which tells us he had a family at one point, but what did that family do to him? He was not reclaimed not a single call or message about him. From what we can tell it’s possible Crest could be house trained, he doesn’t like using the bathroom in his kennel but when he has to he uses it in the back near the outside portion and stays far away from it. We’ve not noticed any food aggression in the slightest with people. Crest seems to love everyone he meets after the first 5 minutes of shy awkwardness, doesn’t seem to mind other dogs or cats. His stunning crystal blue eyes tells us this boy has been through it but always keeps his head up and makes the best out of every situation.
