Cruz is an 8- or 9-year-old, tri-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who could not be friendlier or cuter! This 13-pound puppy mill/hoarding survivor is gaining a fan club wherever he goes due to his outgoing and sweet personality. Cruz is an alpha male, independent, active and energetic and a real snuggler whenever his foster family sits down. He is leash-trained and crate-trained and is working on basic obedience training and house training. When used with consistent crate-training and a routine, he does very well with house training. He gets along well with dogs, cats and children. Cruz loves brightly colored small tennis balls, snacking on chicken and snoring under the covers (a real luxury considering his previous life). Due to his years living in a wire-mesh cramped cage, he has some joint problems that have vastly improved with daily doses of glucosamine. Keeping him on grain-free, high-quality kibble and snacks will help keep his ears healthy. He is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations, so this adorable little guy is ready for his new forever home!
