Meet Chaz Curtis is a 5 y/o, apx 55lbs, gorgeous boy who found himself timestamped for euthanasia in a small rural NC shelter due solely to space. Thankfully, a wonderful foster family stepped up so we were able to save him in the nick of time. Since then, we’ve heard nothing but how wonderful and incredibly special he is. Here’s what his foster mom has to say: “Curtis is a cuddle bug and his favorite spot is right by my husband and I! On the other hand, he also has moderate energy as to be expected for someone his age. This boy LOVES playing with his toys and taking walks! He also does great with cats, too! He doesn’t chase and has learned to respect their space. Curtis is crate trained and house trained. He walks well on a leash but is strong so a harness is better suited for him. Curtis would love another playful, energetic fursiblings that match his play-style and energy level but should be okay with lower energy levels as well. He will require someone that can take him on walks, play in the yard, and would love to have a doggie sibling as he is playful. Curtis doesn’t have kids in his current foster home but when he sees kids in the neighborhood he wags his tail and is happy to see them.
