Curtis

Meet little man Curtis! He is NEUTERED, approximately 2 years of age and a delightful mix of Terrier/Shih Tzu.  Curtis was abandoned twice due to needing, but not getting, a minor medical procedure for a cherry eye. Gerdy rescued this little man, got the eye surgery done and his eye will resume back to normal in no time. Curtis is a character! He is a big boy trapped in a tiny body. He is presently in a foster home living in total comfort with a small foster fellow canine and a cat.  Curtis is CRATE TRAINED and is CLEAN in the home. He is a bit of a barker at the window so apartment living is not recommended!! Curtis also walks well on leash; however he does not greet big dogs well. This behavior must be corrected, through a basic obedience course, positive reinforcement and guidance. This will help Curtis become more polite to his bigger canine friends. Once introduced, Curtis looses his bully way and will play respectfully.  On a good note, Curtis LOVES to swim and has shown his DIVING SKILLS so he MUST be supervised around pools and ponds! Curtis’ favourite role is being the “beau of the ball”. At family outings, Curtis greets everyone with enthusiasm, is well behaved and enjoys going from lap to lap. Curtis is also heartworm tested negative, on heartworm preventative, fully vaccinated and de-wormed. One meeting with Curtis and your heart is stolen forever!
