My Story

Meet our new sweetie, Daisy! Daisy came to us on our transfer program Drives for Lives from up North. This girl originally came in to care because her original guardians could not provide her with the time or care she deserved. Daisy was frequently kept in the yard unattended for long periods of time and would often escape and roam. Daisy-Do is as lovely as she is pretty - who could say no to those golden eyes!? She knows how to sit and shake a paw, and loves to go on long adventurous walks where she can sniff to her hearts content. She walks like a dream and has been doing amazing learning to walk on a harness. Just like with us humans, Daisy is not a fan of every single dog she meets, but she has certainly has had canine friends in the past. She would need a slow introduction to new dogs friends in any future home. She seems to LOVE the attention of people, though! We've even discovered that she adores being brushed. Daisy has prey drive, and should not live with any small animals or cats. She's a sweetheart who is eager to please and is thrilled to get attention from staff and volunteers alike. As Daisy is new to us, we are still learning more about her each day! If you are also interested in learning more about Daisy, drop in for a visit from 12pm-3pm Tuesday to Sundays, OR fill out an application online!
