Daisy Mae is a 4-yr old Aussie mix that came from a family that got her as a puppy to herd cattle. Unfortunately, they didn't take the time to train her and she didn’t have any natural herding instincts so she was put in a pen until they were convinced to take her to a shelter.
She is very people friendly, but high strung from being cooped up in a small kennel for a long period of her life. Daisy Mae is crate-trained, walks OK on leash and rides well in a car.
She would be best as an only dog or with a non-reactive dog, and she is not good with cats. This girl has plenty of energy and would be a great jogging companion or perhaps could do agility but she’s not a working dog. Daisy Mae needs a family that enjoys and is experienced with Aussie personalities.
