Shelter notes- MEET DAISY! This sweet lady is nine years old and has been in and out of our shelter for a few years now, when her owner goes to jail Daisy goes to her jail, the Stockton pound that has been kind enough to care for her. But this time she made the euth list due to blindness and ingestion of meth and behaviors due to all this lovely treatment. Her owner loves Daisy (whatever) and Daisy has a nice coat and is a good weight, but said owner can’t seem to get her life together. From Stockton AS "Daisy is once more in our care; this time she ingested meth and will not let anyone she doesn’t trust or know handle her. She is blind, most likely as a result of head trauma. She is spayed and cute as a bug and if you take it slow with her, she will eventually settle in your lap for a little loving. She is still not a big fan of invasive handling by strangers, but it is a start and we see potential after a rough life at the hands of drug addled humans."
