Dakotah

DAKOTAH IS BEING FOSTERED IN NEW JERSEY. He is another 4-5 month old male puppy rescued from Montana. Shy at first, Dakotah has warmed up nicely to everyone in the foster home and is always seeking attention. Like Ranger, Dakotah has come a long way and is the first to try anything (rascal!) . He's a take charge pup, and the resident Nanny ES is keeping him in check. He speaks very good dog, and he is mindful of the older dogs here. Dakotah has accepted a collar and is learning about the leash and beginning to respond to his name. Overall he is learning that homes are warm, good things come from people and kids, his belly will be full, and that life can be good. Loves his crate and sleeps well at night. His foster home reports little victories every day and we know he will be a great addition to a family that understands where he came from but doesn't let that inhibit his potential. Because of his "take charge" attitude, a home that can provide structure and strong leadership will be essential. Although not yet neutered, it will be a condition of his adoption.
