Darby

We should have a contest to see what everyone thinks Darby is! They said Chow mix. But there is no semblance to a chow. She does have a mixed black tongue. I looked up other dogs with black tongues and a cattle dog is one of them. So I say cattle dog pit mix?? She looks a little like a frenchie - but that would be impossible in Tarboro! Darby is the sweetest girl! This little 15 lb - 12 week old Cattle Dog/Bull Terrier Mix is still a little skittish after being on the streets in rural NC but once you hold her - she just melts into you. She is learning to walk on the leash, come when called and is doing great with potty training. She loves the company of other dogs and even cats. For a 3 month old - she is wonderfully calm, great in the car and has even experienced a nice swim in the bay! We are totally guessing at her mix - you tell us what you think! She does have an off-colored tongue and not many breeds do. Shorter legs, boxer build body, tall ears, mix-colored tongue and very soft short hair. Whatever little Darby is - she is going to be a wonderful dog.
