Day Lilly is a 2 year old girl, around 36 pounds, and came into the shelter in Bowling Green without her puppies. She's scheduled for a spay August 1. She's an incredibly sweet girl who is still very timid and gaining her confidence, but all she has to give in the meantime is affection. We're working up to outside walks, but she likes to be with you outside in the yard. She's very velcro and loves to follow you from room to room, nuzzle against your lap, and flop down nearby. She's very gentle and curious with people and other animals (dog & cat tested in the shelter, though our cats have been giving wide berth). She does perfect in her crate, especially with a Kong with frozen peanut butter! So far her energy levels are low, but she's still coming out of her shell. Once she's more comfortable and settled from her spay, she would definitely benefit from doggy training classes!
