DeeDee is an absolutely precious Pekingese. She was rescued from a Breeder that has already been charged with animal cruelty and many other violations as she was shut down but here she is again with possession of adult dogs and breeding. The laws (or lack of) never cease to amaze me (or should I say disappoint me).
In DeeDee's case she is one of the lucky ones...she came to us with raggedy, matted hair and you could see where the cut the bigger clumps of matts out...she didn't let her situation alter her wonderful temperament and hilarious personality. DeeDee does the famous Pekingese chatter. She greets you with "chatter" when you come home. She is great in the house, completely potty trained, great with other dogs, loves puppies, fantastic with children. She is a wonderful wonderful little girl that is so very charming with her ways.
We were told that there is a possibility that DeeDee is pregnant. If she is the dad was a Pug, yep you read this right---a Pug...humm...anyway we will know is she is pregnant by the beginning of July. If she is pregnant she will have her babies and stay with them until they are 8 weeks old. She will then be spayed and ready for adoption. If it turns out she is not pregnant we will have her spayed at the beginning of July and she will be ready for her new family.
