Meet Diesel! Diesel is a handsome 6 month old lab mix, weighing in at 40lbs. He is very intelligent and keen to the world around him. He picks up on cues quickly, has an incredible temperament around other dogs and cats, and absolutely loves to plop his head down on your lap with the biggest “kerplunk!” as if he’s had a hard day at work and needs some love. Whether it's playtime and a dog is running by, a barn cat walking across the yard, or a bird in the field, he will pause, lift his leg, straight his tail and point. It's adorable to watch as then he just continues on his way, but it's definitely a trademark of his. Diesel adores other dogs so would enjoy having another dog to play with, but would be happy solo too, as long as he's with his person. He lives with two resident cats, and has been exposed to horses and chickens on the other side of the fence and is excellent with all, even ignores the chickens. Diesel knows his forever home is out there, and will be an amazing companion to someone. House-trained, sleeps like a champ, kind to everyone, and just an absolute amazing pup! To help him find his forever family, we are doing an adoption special for him with $100 off his adoption fees, making his adoption fee $250. Diesel asks that it be used for treats and toys.
