Diesel is a 1 year old male Malinois (brother of Zeus).
He is Very sweet and affectionate. He loves his crate and is very well crate trained and potty trained. He needs some work on his leash manners but good with all other dogs so far but has lots of puppy energy! He has a bit of ‘stranger danger’ and takes a day or so to warm up to new people but when they respect his space and let him come to them he warms up quickly. This will have to be monitored as he ages to ensure it doesn’t turn into reactivity.
He LOVES car rides and exploring in general with you or with other dogs. We’ve been working on his recall and although not perfect he is picking up on it and will come for attention and praise but treats are an added bonus! He has medium food drive and although comes out like a rocket it doesn’t take too much to tire him out and I would say he is medium energy. Would do well in an active home with other dogs or on his own but once he warms up to you he understands when it’s time to work and when it’s time to play.
