My Story

Age/Birthdate:11/4/23 • Expected Weight: 44-54 lbs• Breed Guess: Lab Mix Best Guess• Fully Vetted: YES • Adopt fee: 350 Location: Lemont Foster Dog Name: Dillon Any Special Medical or Special Needs: None Temperament with: Dogs: Gets along great with other dogs Cats: Gets along great with cats Children list specific ages: Gets along great will kids of all ages Strangers: Stays away from strangers, needs time to warm up Training Needs: Continue to work on stopping chewing and walking on a leash. Crate Trained: Yes Potty Trained : Mostly, but sometimes has an accident. Activity Preferences: Describe the ideal furever home for your foster: does best with another dog Cute things your foster does that could be endearing or a personality point that would make people want to meet him/her: Dillon loves to cuddle and play. It takes him a little bit to warm up to people but once he does he is a very devoted puppy. He also likes to cool off in his swimming pool. Personality: Dillon is a sweet and gentle pup who is learning to trust and enjoy the company of people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is friendly towards cats. Although Dillon started out very terrified, he has made significant progress and now allows pets and affection from those he trusts. He likes to sleep in bed with you and is learning to trust and let you pet him. Background: Dillon came to us as a scared little pup, but with patience and love, he has warmed up to be a wonderful puppy. Needs and Compatibility: Dillon thrives in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a dog-friendly, active canine companion who can show him the ropes and reinforce that humans are kind. He is young and adaptable, making him a great candidate for families with older children or teens who can be patient as he continues to grow in confidence. Why Dillon is Special: Dillon is a special pup with a gentle soul who just needs a bit of extra love and patience. His progress so far is a testament to his potential to become a wonderful, loyal companion. Having someone at home with him would be a great bonus, helping him to continue his journey of trust and love. Bring Dillon into your pack and experience the joy of seeing a sweet pup blossom into a confident and loving family member.
