Dino

Meet Dino. He is a 2.5year old brindle and white Heeler/Boxer mix. His birthday is 7/25/21. He was 38 about pounds when we pulled him, but pretty undernourished. We expect him to be close to 60-65 pounds possibly. He was surrendered to Memphis Animal High Kill shelter. We pulled him on the day he was to be put down. It was so sad, but ended happy when we drove off with him! His former family was moving and said they couldn't take him, so just left him at a high kill shelter with no other thought of him. How sad! He is good with all people and dogs! She is in a foster with someone who has many dogs and also fosters 4 for Lifehouse. He romps and plays and does well. His foster mom says that he follows her around like a shadow, so he will be very close to his person. He is ready for his forever family! Dino's adoption fee is $350. This covers vetting, including neuter/spay, shots (rabies, bordetella, and parvo/distemper), heartworm test, dewormer, and will be on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Also is microchipped. Dino is heartworm positive. We have him on Doxycycline which he will take for a month, then he will be treated with injections for the heartworms. He should test negative within 4 months after that.
