Meet Dodger! A smiley boy who needs a loving foster or a loving adopter! Dodger is a 2-year old 25-lb pittie mix with so much spark for life! He’s mixed with chihuahua which explains his perfect little size! Dodger was found abandoned on the side of the road with his sister as a puppy, they were malnourished and needed emergency surgeries for prolapsed rectums. Dodger’s sister was adopted after surgery and between living in a home environment and special dog food, she is now a healthy and happy dog! Now Dodger needs a home so he can get the love and food necessary to get better and live a happy life too! Dodger loves going on walks, car rides, playing with other dogs, and cuddles. He is crate and potty-trained but does experience leaks sometimes (he’s comfortable wearing his stylish little diaper around the house until this issue is resolved.) Fostering Dodger comes with supporters who adore him - this support comes in the form of coverage for travel and/or needed time off (his fan club is already full with too many cats and dogs in their own homes so we just don’t have room for another full-timer.) HTR will also provide prescription dog food. This sweet soul is waiting for someone to give him a chance. He has had such a difficult and unfair beginning to his life and given the chance to live in a less stressful environment than boarding would allow him to thrive just like his sister.
