My Story

What a beautiful, majestic looking girl! D.O.G. is a purebred, 4 year old Alaskan Malamute. She has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm. D.O.G. has been a house dog, but also enjoys spending considerable time outside. This active, playful girl likes to play fetch and go on walks. D.O.G. knows a number of commands such as sit, stay, lay, roll over, come, walk, food, eat, hungry, thirsty, down stairs, bye-bye and outside. She enjoys having her belly scratched, as well as her head (between her ears) and having her ears massaged. D.O.G.’s past owner was an early elementary school teacher, hence the name. The past owner came to realize (after having a baby) that D.O.G. was a little too big (69 pounds) to have inside a house with a young child. They wanted what was best for D.O.G., even though it meant a life apart from them. D.O.G.’s AKC papers will go with her. We would prefer to adopt her to a home with no young children. Call 507-451-4512 to meet this special girl. Her adoption fee is $145. (D&MH)
