My Story

This 5lb blonde little girl is your perfect match for patio hopping or a go anywhere soccer mom's side kick. She is a confident little Dachshund mix that is great around dogs of all sizes, kids, and cats. She has been well socialized! While Dorit is well socialized she holds a special place in her heart for HER person; she would love to be spoiled rotten and given all the attention. She sleeps great in a crate but now that her littermates have all been adopted she likes to sneak in her foster mom's bed at night. If you sit down you'll find her curled up in a ball on your lap in seconds. She is house-trained, crate-trained and uses a doggie door. If you want a little puppy that already knows how to dog she's your girl. Her mom is 20lbs full grown and has short legs and a long body just like Dorit. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown.
