DORITO gets his name because of his goofy ears, one looks like a Doritos chip! Dorito is about 1 year old and weighs 40 pounds. He is an absolute sweet and loving boy. He is still working on learning about the world, but does well with some encouragement. He absolutely loves to relax and watch TV. He gets along great with other dogs, big and small. He is very laid back and loves to observe the world around him. His favorite time of the day is chow time and he makes sure you don't forget to feed him. (Doritos not allowed!) Once an adopter is approved, we transport to New York! We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority. We ask that you please make sure if interested in a puppy or high energy breed that you are ready for this time consuming/daily endeavor and have patience as this is a long term commitment (could be 15+ years). Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment is the most important thing in caring for a dog.
