Dorothy

Meet Dorothy. If Dorothy could talk she would tell you a sad tale of neglect. Sweet girl Dorothy is a 10 year old, 10 pound Pomeranian. Dorothy ended up at our local shelter as a stray. With half her body hairless, no teeth in her mouth, she was confused. After joining our organization this girl took some time to open up in a foster home. Dorothy is good with other dogs, and cats. She spends most of her days sleeping away but really enjoys runing around the yard to sniff. She needs a patient family who will allow her to blossom on her own time. She can be very nervous at first but once she opens up she is a total love! There isn't a mean bone in her body. Dorothy passed her health check with flying colors. We believe that with proper care and diet she can regrow her hair on her body. She is potty trained on a schedule and crate trained. She is even as quite as a mouse! She can have accidents in the beginning when transitioning to a new home and schedule. However that sweet smile, and tail wag is worth the wait!
