Our darling friend Dottie is still waiting for the special person or family to take her home!
Dottie was brought to the Allegan Shelter 12/4/23 as a… you guessed it! Lost dog that wasn’t reclaimed. The staff and volunteers immediately fell in love with this sweet, polka-dotted girl. She’s spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations/prevention… she’s ready to go home for good! Dottie is estimated to be ~1 year old.
Dottie is the sweetest, snuggliest dog (with no concept of personal space) If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, you’ve found her! She can be a little shy meeting new people, but if you let her come to you and give her treats she’ll be in your lap in no time.
We think Dottie would do best with kids 8yrs. and older, but she could do younger with the right, gentle kids. She could potentially join a home with a confident dog to look up to, but she doesn't really know "how to dog" and wants space to learn.
