Dotty is a gorgeous Pointer that needs a rescue or Pointer savvy family. She is so afraid and avoids human contact, but does not charge and is not aggressive. She allowed the photographer to get within 1 foot of her without showing aggression, just fear.
We are hopeful a Pointer Rescue will step in and give this most deserving girl a second chance at life. The time and attention she needs cannot be adequately addressed at our shelter. Perhaps you would be willing to foster this most deserving girl? A few weeks of your attention could make a world of difference.
Dotty does get comfort from the other dogs that she lives with and is comfortable with the shelter workers once she knows them.
