DRACO- Needs a foster/forever home!

Handsome Draco is a 3 yr old Lab and Terrier mix who was living in deplorable conditions in a hoarding situation prior to coming to the rescue. Draco is energetic, playful, and a total sweetheart. He loves walks. He isn't often distracted by other dogs or squirrels. When thrown a ball, he picks it up and returns it to you or near you. Draco is quick to pick up new things and has made enormous progress since joining the rescue. Dog selective- would do best as an ONLY DOG. NO CATS!!. Children 10 years old or older. His forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play and hang out with his people. Draco is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on heart worm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Draco is dreaming about having a forever family who will share adventures with him, play and most of all love him for the rest of his life!!! All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Draco's adoption fee is $300. DRACO WOULD LOVE TO BE IN A FOSTER HOME WHILE HE IS WAITING TO BE ADOPTED.
